Pioneer of the So Cal punk rock sound Donnell Cameron solidifies the statement that great records can still be made with tape machines. From the 60s style garage bands of the late 1980s, the punk rock resurgence of the 1990s, to the rock-n-roll phenomena of the new millennium there is no type of music that Donnell has yet to come across. He has produced and engineered some of the great modern pop records and has no intentions of slowing down anytime soon
Captain of this highly creative staff, Donnell and his crew of C.R.A.S. graduates always look forward to the challenge of a new recording session. He is always willing to offer his skills, tips, and techniques that he has accumulated over the decades; his awards speak volumes. Combining influences from both the past and present, Donnell charges on blazing new trails into the next era of modern music recording.
Seth Hum
Studio Manager
Seth Hum moved to Los Angeles after graduating from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Science in Tempe Arizona in 1999. Upon completing his internship at Epitaph Records Seth landed his first full time gig at N.O.V.A. Productions, a voice-over-recording studio. Eventually he became the head of the audio department working with many celebrities and producing over 100 ad campaigns both regional and national for film, television, theater, and radio.
Seth is Westbeach Recorders studio manager, but is no newcomer to the Westbeach history. He has worked on albums with Donnell Cameron and has been a fan of his work for over two decades. With strengths in business, promotions, and a solid recording background. Seth looks forward to continuing the legacy that Westbeach has made for itself over the years. Most recently he has produced 5 releases for Fallen-Angel-Records including The Filthies, Cacti Widders, and Running On Fumes at Westbeach in Hollywood.
Ezroy Cameron
Engineer
In 2008 Westbeach added another member to the staff; Ezroy Cameron. At 23, he has already graduated from the University of California Riverside, Musicians Institute in Hollywood, and is no stranger to the music business. Ezroy has been in and around studios from a very young age and has followed in the footsteps of his multi-award winning father Donnell Cameron at Westbeach as a recording engineer. “I’ve always had a passion for music, melodies, and composing” explains Ezroy.
Ezroy is a multi-talented engineer and producer who is the future of Westbeach. Though still young in the game, he has already worked with a wide variety clients that spans over many musical genres. Ezroy has a great vision of every project he tackles, making sure your session at Westbeach is enjoyable and top quality.
