About me:
We are an organization comprised of young professionals between the ages of 18 and 41. We were established over 50 years ago. The West End Jaycees are located in the West End of Richmond, Virginia, although our members come from all over the metropolitan area.
* What are the jaycees?
Jaycees stands for Junior Chamber of Commerce. The Jaycees' focus is to turn individuals into community leaders.
* So... what do you do?
The organization is non profit. YOU can count on the West End Jaycees for community service, networking, leadership training/ personal development, and social activities.
* We have monthly meetings at Bottoms Up on Nuckols Rd every SECOND MONDAY of the month at 7:30 pm. Join us! (Free beer!)
* We run the Christmas Tree lot at Parham and Patterson each year. The profit from this event funds our other activities for the rest of the year.
* We plan a "Bar of the Month" outing, where the jaycees buy the first round of drinks (for you and your friends!)- just to hang out! During the summer, we pour beer at Innsbrook instead!
* Examples of Community Service: SCAN, Stone Circle of Friends, Little Santa, Angel Tree, Habitat for Humanity, Books for Africa, Camp Virginia Jaycee for disabled persons, International Counselor Adoption (also Camp VA Jaycee), donations to American Cancer Society, Children's Hospital, and many other reputable organizations.

If you want us to stop in your town shout out now because the highway to hell tour plans are underway. It's a given there's to be a road trip down Interstate 95 Southbound from Richmond but we don't mind deviating from our path.
If you want me - tell me and me and I'll rumble on into town with books in hand! That's right you get a chance to pick the tour stops!! How many authors are going to let you do that for them??
