About me:
We’re a 25 year-old culinary institution serving the Northwest in the great city of Portland. About 950 students and 135 culinary and hospitality-loving instructors and staff members call the historic WCI Galleria building in downtown Portland, home.

Our students and friends have one huge thing in common – a passion for cooking and service. We also have a bunch of student clubs that create everything from custom carved ice-sculptures, to exclusively designed wedding cakes, and an externship program that truly gives our students a taste of the industry prior to graduating.

Aspiring foodies can earn an Associate of Occupational Studies degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts, and Le Cordon Bleu Hospitality and Restaurant Management. You can also earn a Diploma in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts or Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie & Baking.

What makes WCI unique?

Yeah, we’re that cool – A recognized name for quality culinary education, WCI remains the only Le Cordon Bleu-affiliated culinary school in the Pacific Northwest.

One big happy family – Many WCI faculty members are industry pros outside the classroom, from caterers to cookbook authors to winemakers committed to passing their knowledge and experience on to our students.

This is our house – We are located in the historic Galleria Building, in the heart of Portland, with 84,000 square feet of industry-current professional teaching kitchens, computer labs, smart classrooms, and two student and staff operated restaurants.

Location, location, location – Portland = an hour and a half from the ocean and an hour from the mountains…what more is there to say?

Good stuff grows here! – Students use fresh and local ingredients whenever possible and have the opportunity to incorporate green-friendly cooking trends in the classroom.

We have your back – We have developed an extensive network of industry contacts all over the world to help our current students and WCI graduates connect with important influencers.
