    I am going to be attending Western in August for my freshman year and I'm so excited. If anyone could give me advice or be my friend early that would be great! Nobody from my high school or surrounding schools are going to Western.

    Hey, I dont know how many people look at this page anymore, It doesn't look like too often. Anyways, I'm seriously thinking about going to this school and I would like some student opinions on this school. I also have some questions about the snowboarding team and the dorm rooms.. I'm a freshman in high school right now, so I still have some time to find out what college I wanna go to but as of right now, this is my TOP choice.. So if anyone could help me out. I'd appreciate it. =] Thanks!

    if anyone is interested or knows anyone who is interested, im trying to sell my bass, amp, and case for 300. its an ibanez soundgear 400 and the amp is a 15 watt crate. i took care of everything very well so hit me up if you want to buy this.

    True, Western is a great place to enjoy the college experience. Socially Western has students who party, students that don’t, and of course WSC also has the academic experience. Western is in fact about the same price per credit hour as the community colleges in the State of Colorado. Of course, that all depends on if the student is living at home while attending the community college, that would obviously make a difference in overall cost.

    if youre looking for the full college experience with parties and all that fun stuff, this is the college for it.
    if youre looking to simply get your lower division credits, you can go to a community college for far cheaper

    For everyone who is intrested in going to Western State... I love the school, campus, and teachers. Its like home with all the people you meet. You'll have a great time in the dorms and leaving off campus. The only down fall of Gunnison is that it is a small town and if you are not into the outdoors you'll have a hard time finding something to do.
    I highly recommend this school to anyone!!!

    i've lived in gunnison my whole life and hate it, specially the cold and snow, but im staying to go here next year. from what i've heard, gunnison as a college student is so much different than as a high school student.
