Western Suburbs Rugby Football Club (Suburbs) was formed in 1976 by a group of ruggers who broke off from Sud Americano Rugby Football Club in Washington D.C. These ruggers desired to practice and play rugby closer to their homes in the western portion of Fairfax County. Western Suburbs history spans 30 years of sport, personalities, and successes.
The team is made up of the Western Suburbs RFC Division II/III players and the Western Suburbs Old Boys (SOBs).
We also have a WSRFC U-19 Team.
WSRFC U19 will be competing in the Virginia High School Rugby League Spring of 2008.
Practices, game scheduule, etc. are posted on the website at (www.rugbyfootball.com).
If you're in the area, come check us out.
