Welcome to the WEST GATE LOUNGE,
Located at the Best Western Nyack On Hudson in Nyack, New York. The West Gate Lounge was established in the late 1960's and has been going strong for over 40 years. In the 1970's it was well known throughout the NY tristate area as a celebrity hot spot. With lines out the door seven nights a week. One night in the late 1980's a musician who lived locally was brought in by the name of Tito Puente and his orchestra. Having already been a worldwide known celebrity, Tito Puente packed the house. After having him back a couple of times, customers were asking for more latin music. The demand was there and our Sizzzzzzzzzzl'n Latin Nights was started. Now over 20 years later we still have Latin Night Every Saturday. The evening starts off with salsa dance lessons from 8-10pm then at 10pm our house DJ spins the top salsa, merengue and bachata beats. Top latin bands from around the world perform every Saturday. Tito Puente had continued to play here several times a year for over 15 years up until his passing. Always a full house of friends, family and admirers. Celebrating his 70th birthday here as well as his 50th anniversary in the music industry and the anniversary of his 100th album. He will be missed deeply!

On behalf of Cubanoson, I thank Jimmy for bringing us back to one of our favorite clubs. Hoping that all of our supporters come out and see us at West Gate Lounge, a great club with great people.
