Burnout are an energetic four-piece band from Livingston in Scotland.
Martin Livingston our Front Man formed the band back in 2006 and since then have been creating High Energy Music ever since.
We have played in may venues throughout the UK including playing as a support act for “The Complete Stone Roses”.
At the begining of our career we took part in a Battle of The Bands competition within our Home Town of Livingston & to our delight we won gaining a very strong & loyal fanbase. From then on things have just gone from strength to strength.
We went on to play the Glasgow Scene & again took part in another Battle of the Bands competition which was run by a famous Glasgow haunt called "Rockers". Estatic as we were, we had just gained ourself a spot to perform at the Famous "Glasgow Barrowlands".
This to us all was just a dream come true.
We then ventured a bit further from our home town & headed down to Wigan, again to enter a competition which was being sponsored by "Jack Daniel's". To be so far away from home & take 2nd place was another big achievement for us all.
Our current manager "Lynne Hall", who is the drummers sister decided to also enter us in The "Sun's Winadeal" competition and out of 300 entries we finished off in 10th place.
We are all so passionate about our music & will not give up until we are successfull in what we do best & that is perform.
Canadian based Label "Bodog" have just recently ran a competition, which was being held throughout the whole of Europe and we managed to get to the City Finals again gaining a slot to perform at another Famous Glasgow venue - "The Carling Academy".
In between times we have played at many other venues including our local in Livingston called "The Granary", in which we hosted a gig on behalf of Children In Need. This again was another amazing night with all proceeds going to a good cause.
What we now aim to do is carry on performing, creating high-energy music and to make our mark on the UK and World Scene. With our strong & loyal fan base who greatly enjoy and appreciate our music we know we can do it.
The possibility of massive gigs is just around the corner and we feel more than ready for the bigger stage.

Obviously 4 Believers, Closet Organ, Mamalujo, Burnout live at the 13th Note, Glasgow - 1 November 2007
We're in the basement again. It is getting to be an occupational hazard. Tonight's basement is the 13th Note in Glasgow and tonight's entertainment consists of Burnout, Mamalujo, Closet Organ and Obviously Four Believers.
First on is Burnout. From the outset, it is clear that they have that that nineties British sound down pat. They play a tight game too with drummer Michael Beattie impressing most. Martin Livingston shows all the confidence needed of a lead singer as he sets about converting a friendly crowd. It might well be a lyric to someone else's song but the comment that comes to mind is that they work hard for the money. With plenty of energy on display, they are certainly the best things that Bluesbunny has heard come out of Livingston.
And the result tonight? Obviously Four Believers had the best songs of the night but suffered from the poorest sound. Burnout got the best sound and really put some effort into their performance so we'll call it a draw.

5 days to go. 5 great bands 5 different styles only £5
Where else can you get this value of entertainment for so little cash ?
Its the Big Easter Bash THIS SATURDAY, and the band line up is nothing but the highest order. 3 very local bands, one from Edinburgh & one from Glasgow (which do have ties to West Lothian). If you need a ticket, and they are running out fast, then get in touch with either myself or one of the bands to snap up one of the remaining few.
