I like to read and watch movies/film and yes, I do feel there is a difference between the terms because I'm a pretentious asshole. Reading books and watching movies/films can be such a wonderful way to escape from the tedious routine that can creep into everyday life because they expose you to new ideas and concepts, or, just watch NASCAR. Same diff.

I like to drink, but this fondness for alcohol has been the facilitator to some of the problems or at least symptoms of some of the problems in my life. I’ve cut back and have found that by doing so, things have generally gotten better, but it would be a lie to say the desire has left or even dissipated (Translation: I still drink, but folks don't get as pissed since I'm not chasing people with axes or playing chicken with trucks while I'm on foot).

I like to cook, both on the grill and in the kitchen and I especially like to bake. This makes me only kind of gay. I like engaging in conversation that is not filled with mundane minutiae or hollow pleasantries, i.e. 95% of all human interaction. I enjoy spending time with friends and some family. I enjoy listening/watching standup, sketch comedy and improv.

I enjoy working out so I may eat whatever I like without too much worry over what horrible food I'm shovelling down my gullet. Well, that and to stare at the 65 year old women, who make up the only females at my gym. Neck wattles never looked so bangable!

I enjoy staying updated on what is happening politically and socially both at home and abroad so I can lord it over friends who have more to do with their lives than worry about shit they can't change. I enjoy listening to a variety of different forms of music, but I probably think the things you listen to suck. I would probably enjoy a lasting and committed relationship, but nothing that has lead up to this point would indicate why seeing as how I'm an emotional cripple.
