The I.V. League: The Beginning of the Endgame

When three young cats whose love for inspired music hooked up to create The I.V. League, they didn't think that an immediate uptake of their fresh spin on urban music was on the cards. Actually, that's a lie. From the outset AKA, Buks and Kamza knew that they had what it took to turn the game on its head. And that happened when they gathered themselves to form Instant Vintage Entertainment – their own label to handle the impending release of their own original material. From House to Hip-Hop, it didn't matter – their collective creativity would come together to make classic timeless music.

But something else had to come first – building their name. And that could only happen if they had the music-fan's buy-in and that of their fellow musicians. So sharing their ideas had to come into play. Word spread that there were new beat brokers in town. The rest as the I.V.would say, is history in the making.

Drawing inspiration from sounds past and present, the dynamic within The I.V. League allows the shift between styles to be seamless and effortless. Their biggest challenge is the eternal battle between producers and mediocrity – they want to treat the game like Lego: building up a masterpiece only to break it down then build up another – all this, consistently and organically. With their sounds soon to be making the rounds, and a few tricks up their sleeve for 2008, The I.V. League look to ingrain their music into the hearts and souls of the worlds musical masses.
