about us? we are the torch. we torch the village. we are 13 students of the arts come together to create poetry in a performance to be remembered. it is an experience we hope will not only have an impact on us but as well for those whom choose to be present. so choose. be there. even if you're square. we are the writers of america. we are the poets. we are the ones with the pencil in our pockets and the dirty shoes on our feet. we offer a night of sexy music and ass kicking performances. we offer you a slice of orange sunset soul dipped in Chico's tacos sauce. we offer el paso's young talent in a basket served on stage with a side of arroz y frijoles.... artistically speaking of course. don't bring a fork. along with the 8 different flavored performers, 2 seasoned guests will be featured with the recognizable names of Sasha Pimental Chacon and Roberto Santos. ooo baby.. dim lights. lit stage. a smile on your face. so bring your Chichas and your Chones and all your other friends as well. drag your grandma out of bed. shave your legs. clear your phlegm. take a shower...or don't. find your way downtown.
