In the mid-nineties, while Crystal and Frank slaved over creativity in their own punk (and ska-punk) bands, Cristy and Jackie sat at home, learning Mr T Experience songs. Cristy was probably in tears. They werent even hanging out with eachother- Cristy was in FL and Jackie was in PA, for crying outloud. About eleven years later, Cristy moved to NYC, where she heard it was easier to start a band than it was to get laid- unfortunately, the success of both these things lacked potential in the city which supposedly doesnt sleep. The potential for love was barren, while musical collaboration was a bullshit pipe-dream. In the winter of 2006, Jackie and Cristy combined forces, and failed miserably- because Cristy was afraid of being the only guitarist due to her low self-esteem (which obviously came to fruition due to the love-less wasteland that New York City was at this time.) However, this entire time- Crystal was joyfully drumming her little fists away with Partyline in DC; and Frank was playing in The Unlovables, and Lost Locker Combo. Cristy started asking everyone who shred at guitar to start a band with her and Jackie- but they were all too busy....................Cristy and Crystal were neighbors, and spent most of their time high on life, bitching about the lack of musical productivity in their lives (Now that Crystal had left DC for NYC). Jackie was playing in Girl Crush with a Frank. In classic homewrecker fashion, Cristy snatched the duo of Frank and Jackie, which conveniently included their drummer friend, Dan; one night in 2008. The four of them hopped in a cab, all going seperate directions, which hardly made sense to the cab driver, our wallets, the flat tire, and the dreary sacks of hail falling haplessly from the sky. Like the cab ride, our situation with Dan didn't work out in the end....Drummer-less again. Fuck. Until Crystal showed up at Cristy's one morning with fresh baked cookies and a sack of spiritual awakening- no, not weed - but the desire to play drums with them. Eventually, the four of them rejoyced- and Cristy stopped complaining about everything all the time- unless, ofcourse, if it was in the form of a song, or whatever.
