Weymouth Arts Network is a boringly-named, informal group of artists, writers, performers and drunkards based in Weymouth, Dorset.
They meet (usually) on the first wednesday of every month, in (usually) the Lazy Lizard on Weymouth seafront at (usually) 8pm.
They attempt to plan and create events and exhibitions of extraordinary magnificence both in Weymouth and on the mysterious isle of Portland that hangs limply from its underside. A summer art exhibition is already planned for July, and a strange kind of "entertainment" evening is scheduled for sometime in August, involving such delights as "gimp poetry" and stand-up comedy.
Bearded Steve is their Leader.
