Waiting for the Blackouts is an internet radio station with an eclectic mix of genres but features mostly deathrock, post punk, indie, goth, synthpop, darkwave and the like. It also has a heavy rotation of Bay Area artists. Abandon all pretension ye who enters. If you're too goth to appreciate all forms of music then go away.
Waiting for the Blackouts is programmed by c_death who lives on the east side of the San Francisco Bay. She once hosted and DJ'ed a monthly east bay event called Ain't Dead Yet, and was one of the regular DJs for another monthly event, House of Voodoo in San Francisco proper. She also has had guest spots at various other events and shows. She has been programming WFTB since late 1999. She can be found on Livejournal as c_death. WFTB also has a LJ community, join or watch, give input, suggest bands and read the weekly updates.
WFTB now has a supplemental podcast, check it out here.
