Waiting For Tomorrow, dives into the world of teenage runaways as it follows a young couple living on the streets of Hollywood. PJ, a twenty-one-year old Latino and his seventeen-year-old girlfriend Lori, are desperate for a way out of the streets. PJ plans on using the earnings of a drug deal to move the couple to Seattle. But during their last twenty-four hours in Los Angeles, their desire to start a new life is greatly challenged by their history on the streets and old acquaintances who are not as excited to see them succeed. Moral choices become the fault line in an endless day. The couple is forced to face reality and question whether being together is really all that matters.
