We are a non-commercial, listener-supported public radio station. Serving nearly 350,000 listeners each week in the New York area and thousands more worldwide on the web, WFUV offers an eclectic mix of rock, singer-songwriters, blues, world and other music— we're everything but predictable.

We will launch an alternate channel online at wfuv.org and in HD at 90.7 FM in the New York City area to include a blend of established and emerging NYC-based indie rock, electronica, world, dance and other musical hybrids in Fall 2008.

VRS Productions	May 5 2008 3:51 PM DJ Riders Rhythm and Brews will host the first annual Little Village Rock Festival, to benefit the Little Village House in Port Washington,NY The Little Village House is a residence for local Autistic children who need special care which parents have difficulty providing in their own homes. It is a non-profit agency which gets most of its funding from the parents of the residents, as well as donations from the outside. That's where we come in. These kids need us to help them . There will be live music, a free buffet provided by DJ Rider himself, Raffles, and a 50/50 drawing. Music will be provided by the following local artists: There will be a $10 minimum donation at the door, but you are encouraged to give as much as you can. If you can't make it to the event, but still want to help with a donation of either money or a prize that we can raffle off at the event, please call VRS Productions at 516-637-6009 or Kristen Gaynor Romani at 516 574 1460 and we'll hook you up with all the necessary info. The event will run from 9pm through 2am on Friday, May 9, 2008 at DJ Riders Rhythm & Brews, 3297 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, NY 11572
