  • General

    Active in my church, Milan Christian Church in Milan, IL. I am a huge sports fan (see below). Travel, movies, music, following the presidential campaign, sadly food, time with my family, chasing our cats, walking, writing sports related stuff, and taking time to search for a new job to support my family after a corporate jobcut and me taking a cut in pay and a demotion instead. FAVORITE SPORTS: Iowa Hawkeyes, Missouri Valley Basketball, Auto Racing (mainly Kevin Harvick and the indy cars), San Diego Chargers, World Cup Soccer, Baseball, Hockey, Tiger Woods, used to be a Andre Agassi fan until he retired, College Football and Basketball, occasionally bobsledding, and once in awhile I will numb my brain watching the WWE defineately considering the source.

    THE WHO, EMERSON,LAKE,AND PALMER, STING, SMASHING PUMPKINS, DURAN DURAN, GENESIS, ES POSTHUMUS, YES, PINK FLOYD, ASIA, GPS, STYX, DEPECHE MODE (though I am yet to have one of their CD's), GARTH BROOKS, JENNIFER LOPEZ (my next wife LOL), JOHN TESH, SOME LED ZEPPELIN, SOME OF THE MUSIC FROM MYSPACE ACTS, AND SOME TELEVISION THEME SONGS, and Clay Aiken.

    Several... The Oceans movies for that matter, most George Clooney flicks (the guy one hell of an actor/director), Star Trek movies (cannot wait for the next one), Animal House (all time favorite), Naked Gun movies, Independence Day, Vegas and Christmas Vacation, Hoosiers, Rocky movies, The Longest Yard (first movie), Airplane, and Farenheight 911.

    Smallville, Countdown With Keith Olbermann, Family Guy, Two And A Half Men, CSI:Miami (if only to be as cool as David Caruso), Football Night In America, Pardon The Interuption, CSI:NY, Enterprise, Saturday Night Live, Doctor Who, Heroes, and Kings.

About me:

Born June 5th, 1961. WGJBS stands for William, Gigi, Justin, Brian, and Shelby. I have a voice for newspaper and a face for radio. I have always had a passion for sports. I failed as a jock but they need that goofy fan in the stands to cheer them on and chastise the opponents or referees who make a bad call. I always wanted to be a sportscaster and remember many a time in my childhood years other kids wish I would shut up. Am I too late? Probabaly. Too bad I could not have been able to go to Northwestern or Syracuse, the premier television broadcasting schools. Or be a sports television executive, (ex: Dick Ebersol). Longtime television veteran behind the scenes at a local NBC affiliate in Davenport, Iowa. This is good time in life to leave and find other ventures for a positive growth for myself, the good people I would work for, and most of all my family.
