| General | Music, obviously. I don't get obsessive about a lot of things, but when I do....I go all out. Cheap Trick, Spiderman and Mystery Science Theatre are the ones I'll admit to in public. The things I won't admit to are far more interesting. LOL | | Music | Cheap Trick, Beatles, Led Zep, Pink Floyd, Nirvana, ELO, Queen, Cars, all the classic rock bands. Also, Overlive, REM, Soul Asylum, Dashboard Confessionals, Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy (does this make me "emo"), The Killers, My Chemical Romance, Sum 41, Ramones, Simple Plan, Replacements, Eve 6, Bowling For Soup, They Might Be Giants, Weezer, Toad The Wet Sprocket, I could go on for days.
Support local music! Go see bands like Spicy Tie, The Queue, Effect The Cause, Ugly Stick, Autumn's Fate (even though they broke up), Rock Soup, Twistortion (even though they broke up), and all the other bands I'm not mentioning by name who will now be pissed at me for not saying their name. Hey, sorry. It's just a brain fart on my part. Let me know and I'll correct it. | | Movies | Dude, Where's My Car is the best movie ever made! It has everything! It edges out Starship Troopers. Otherwise, I love anything lampooned by Mystery Science Theatre 3000 and now by "The Film Crew". On a more serious note, I love the classic comedies like Caddy Shack and Animal House.....and anything with Matt Damon. Best actor alive.... 2001: A Space Odyssey...Spiderman movies.... I hate every movie with Reese Witherspoon. All Kevin Smith movies ROCK (except Jersey Girl. I hate Ben Affleck...and the movie sucked). | | Television | Entourage, South Park, Family Guy, Simpsons, Football (Vikings), Hockey (Dallas Stars), The Soup, ESPN's Sports Reporters, Paranormal State, UFC, WEC, most anything on VH1 Classics. The new shows I'm watching (so far) are Chuck and Journeyman (even though it got the axe). I have some guilty pleasures (Smallville).....But I'm trying to cut down. | | Books | I'll read anything that has to do with psychic phenomenon, the after-life, NDE's, spirits, spirit guides, angels or meditation. Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughter House 5", Arthur C. Clarke's "Childhood's End". | | Heroes | Anyone brave enough to be themselves. No matter what that might be.....Anyone who isn't afraid......and people that make a difference. |

About me:
Hmmm.... what is there to know?
We took a personality profile quiz at work. So I guess I'm aloof and disconnected.
I think I can be friendly, cynical, sarcastic, witty and funny at times (I hope), yet relatively quiet and shy outside of work. Yes, I am very shy. I'm not the one that will generally start a conversation with someone I don't know. If you get past all of that, you'll find I'm not as intimidating or scary as you might think! I am the least stuck-up and least judgemental person I know.
I'm single, I have two cats (Robin and Bun E., named after Cheap Trick members). The rest is even more uninteresting.
Anything else you wanna know? Just ask. But there's not a lot to tell.

Who I'd like to meet:
You...as long as you'll love me for who I am and won't judge me....and you won't disappoint me....and if you have a lot of money, that helps too. Otherwise....I've already met Cheap Trick, so I'm good.
