Sounds Like
I labour by singing light/
Not for ambition or bread/
Or the strut and trade of charms/
On the ivory stages/
But for the common wages/
Of their most secret heart./
Not for the proud man apart/
From the raging moon I write/
On these spindrift pages/
Nor for the towering dead/
With their nightingales and psalms/
But for the lovers, their arms/
Round the griefs of the ages,/
Who pay no praise or wages/
Nor heed my craft or art. xxx

What is the sound of one hand clapping? What is the sound of a tree falling in the forest with no one there to hear it? These new songs wanted to be heard, so here they are ...
Whale Blue Eye's first album, "Dizzy With Joy," which was released a few years back, is still available on CDBaby and iTunes. I've included that link over on the left-side of the page--click on it and you'll have the opportunity to read a few inane facts and odd statements about Whale Blue Eye. You'll also be able to check out some songs other than the ones posted on this page ...
And the SONGS are why I'm here: I'm a songwriter, guitarist, and (sort of) singer. I've got plenty of other joyously sad sounds that I will be posting as I record them. Thanks for stopping by--whether you do so in slyly discreet fashion, or whether you're so bold and kind as to take the time to leave a message. Peace.

A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle.
For example: If she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features.
However, if she is menstruating, or menopausal, she tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth and a spear lodged in his chest while he is on fire.

Hello!!! I saw you have a new song "the river is deep"!!! beautiful song, beautiful voice and beautiful lyrics... I really love the words of this song because they are clear and full of so much feeling. I've downloaded this song too...thanks so much for the great emotions!!! Hope all is going well with you!! ciao tizzy :)
Ok am finally back, wanted to really listen... The River is Deep surprised me...I had something totally different in my mind when I read the lyrics. Something slower! But I love the almost sentimental swing to this piece. The chorus brings out the sense of connection you have with him...and I love the tag after the chorus. The outro is brilliant btw. Was the recording process fairly spontaneous? It sounds unforced. Kudos! - the Paulster
