I'm happiest when I'm creating new memories, learning, trying something new. Happiest when my child smiles at me or gives me a hug, or when my husband is satisfied with his life. I'm happy when I learn how to make a new meal, make a new friend, or doing something somebody wouldn't expect me to. I'm happy when I stand out. I'm happy when I belong. I'm happy when my friends and family are happy. Wow, I guess I'm just happy.

I could watch this performance time and time again and never ever tire of it! Every single time I hear this, it gives me goose bumps! I think Cyndi Lauper is completely underapreciated. She is pure talent!

I love reading so much! I I have been in a complete reading frenzy the past couple of months and can't seem to dig my nose out of books. I am currently reading The Twilight Series by Stephenie Meyer. Good books but, they're a little mind numbing. The characters are well written but, it's a bit fodder-ish. More than anything else, it makes me miss reading Anne Rice. When I finish reading Breaking Dawn (the last book in the Twilight Series), I'll be rereading Interview.
Today, right now, I just really hope to pass on the love of reading to my children. Every day we make sure to carve out time to read together.

Hey! I'm Lisa!

I've got a spectacular husband and three scrumptious children.

I am an Oregon kinda girl, and probably couldn't function anywhere outside of the Northwest.

I luv my family and friends and good song.

I like to read when I get the chance but, I never do.

My happiness it at it's zenith when I am partaking in havock, mayhem and calamity. But, since I'm a mom, it has to be at least a little bit legal. I always obey the GOOD laws.

I know now, that I should have listened to my mom and become an author. My passion was, and probably still is, writing.

I love to travel when I can. Especially if it involves a tent of some sort. Or ... a hotel with a nice pool and a great resteraunt attached.

Concerts are king and movies are rad.

I am a self proclaimed ski freak but, it's been too long since I've been able to speed down a slope.

I pretty much LOATHE pills or medicines and I'd be a vegitarian if I had a chef to make me food.

I try to be as organic as I can, but I fail miserably.

I wish I had better knees to go run every day.

I love hiking and biking!

Oh, and there is that coffee thing.

And I can't resist cloves when offered!

I'll try anything and I love a good excuse to stay awake until the sun rises, as long as I do eventually get 8 hours of shut eye in.

I love my kids smiles, watching them learn something new and I love it when I make my husband laugh.

Yeah ... That's ME.
