Sounds Like
a 30 something scouser trying to play guitar and sing!
Stevo began his musical career at the tender age of 18, whence his ma bought him one of those cheap guitars from argos that aren't worth a wank.
By the age of 21 the boy could play 3 chords.
At 23 he joined his 1st band, getting the lead guitarist role in an indie outfit called 'Godstar', where he began plying his trade as a songwriter.
Aged 26 he then formed a female fronted pop/rock kind of thing under the name of 'glasschild', where his songs enjoyed some small success in england and spain.
Today, a few years on, Stevo is struggling to forage a solo career.
He is not the best singer in the world and his guitar playing often leaves a lot to be desired.
He descibes his debut album 'songs only i will listen to' as ' a collection of songs that only i will probably listen to!'

Presented by Manchester independent label, Humble Soul. A showcase of contemporary folk, featuring the wry lyrical observations of Eccles' Aidan Smith, whose second album, Allotments is due for release this summer. Following on from early releases on Twisted Nerve and his debut album, Fancy Barrel on Analogue Catalogue, this new collection of fourteen tracks is arguably his best yet. In support are Table and Liverpool's The Random Family, both brimming with talented multi-instrumentalists and beautiful songs.
Hi Stevo, it was great seeing you last night, and I love your songs. I'm on my second listen right now... I snuck in this afternoon but was too busy to listen properly, but this evening it's clear that you're really NOT going to be the only one listening to them - but I love the self-effacing irony of your humble CD title :)
Many thanks for your comments - you've made my day. I wasn't too sure about my performance last night (worrying about using my new nylon-strung guitar for the first time), but you've reassured me a little,, and that's very much appreciated I can tell you - thanks!
Yes, it's my 'natural' voice, but it's evolved so much in the last 2+ years since I started singing in public that sometimes I barely recognise it myself . It's still changing... who knows where it could end lol :)
it's what happens when you let girls sing. i'll email it to you when i'm back on my own computer. is there any of your other stuff that you need? i've got about ten songs that Mike from the old SHM sent me.
Until Tomorrow came into my head randomly before, so i went to the Glasschild myspace to see if it was there for a listen. hadn't listened to your solo version of it before. it's nice. what happened to the harmony in the chorus though?
