THEATRE: Acting, design, production, props, carpentry...you name it, I've done it and loved it. I also enjoy some sports, like volleyball, tennis, swimming, skiing...is ping-pong a sport? Hiking, camping, general nature...outdoors really appeal to me. Singing's good...I'd like to try my hand at "dating". If I think of any more interests, I'll add them.

Television
I enjoy watching HBO series' like Deadwood, Six Feet Under, ROME, Real Time with Bill Maher, as well as good cable programming such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and The Colbert Report. I also enjoy uplifting news programs like Hannity & Colmes and The O'Reilly Factor (down with the liberal media!!!) Other than that, I'm not that into primetime. Arrested Development was good until Fox cancelled it, which was a brilliant idea if I may say so.
Seeking artists in the Los Angeles area with an interest in creating original/experimental forms of theatre/film that are accessable to all ages and cultural backgrounds.
About me: I'm 26, I'm dating an amazing girl and I'm pretty easy to be around...that about says it right there. But seriously, I studied Theatre at Cal State, Northridge and after leaving that grand institution of higher learning, I started a theatre company with a few very good friends of mine from said institution. The Sons of Beckett Theatre Co., as we called ourselves, enjoyed about 3 years of critical success, receiving praise from the LA Times, the LA Weekly and Backstage West, to name a few. Unfortunately, critical success for a small theatre company in Los Angeles doesn't quite translate into monetary success...the company disbanded around 2005.
By the middle of that year, my life became a bit restless, so I decided I'd move to Pittsfield, Massachusetts with my 2 good co-founder friends Jay and Erin Africa and my then roommate/best buddy Matt Babb. There, in the town of Erin's birth, we were to establish a kickass, totally original, cafe/theatre. It was brilliant; over a year of preparation, floor plans, financial plans, menus, the support of the whole town and...nothing. We even had a space on main street that would have been perfect, but no cash and the banks wouldn't help us, even after 3 months of putting everything we had into it. So, we finally decided that LA was our true home and packed up and moved back, oh yeah, but we left Matt there to snatch up all the unavailable, New England honeys.
So, shortly after returning to Los Angeles, I took a job with The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, where I've been for almost 2 years now. Also shortly after returning, I helped form a band with Jay, Erin, 2 other theatre co. co-founders Heidi and Eric and The Jennifer Project percussionist Mark. Together, we became "The Moods". Check us out at myspace/themoodslosangeles, we rock and sometimes roll. And that's me, the long and the not-so-short of it. Hope you'll come back real soon.
