About me:
This is the site with info on the Saturday, May 16, 2009 WRFU 104.5fm Tower Benefit Show, part deux.
This show is set for Mike n' Molly's beautiful beer garden, where fun will be had and funds will be raised to replace the station's temporary tower with a permanent one this summer. Yes.
Show runs from 5:30pm-1am.
The first tower benefit show in this series took place on a cold and blustery Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Cowboy Monkey. It packed the house, featuring more than 16 local musicians and poets, and raising nearly half of the remaining amount needed for the station's new permanent tower. This second (and final) tower benefit show promises just as much local music goodness as show one minus all of the the nasty winterness. Just you wait.
In the spirit of WRFU, this show will offer a wide variety of local talent performing short sets throughout the night. And, once again, local superstar and The Show host Ray Morales will be the evening's MC.
