• 2012 MTV Movie Awards To Be Hosted By Russell Brand (Nominees Inside!)

    We’re coming up fast on the 2012 MTV Movie Awards, and the word is out that Russel Brand will be hosting this year’s show. 36-year-old Brand is one of the stars in the upcoming movie, “Rock of Ages,” and has a long history with the music network. Known as an actor and comedian, Brand has also hosted the Video Music Awards twice.

    In response to his selection as the host this year, Brand was excited:

    “MTV Movie Awards incorporates two of my favorite things. Movies and Awards. If somehow group sex could be involved it would be the greatest night of my life.”
