If you’re into really obscure movies, you may have come across director Harmony Korine’s work before. He wrote a controversial NC-17 movie called Kids back in 1995, and has since directed all sorts of weird projects, including his last film, which is amusingly titled Trash Humpers. But chances are you’re already more familiar with his current project, a more mainstream movie called Spring Breakers that stars Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ashley Benson as college girls who land in jail after robbing a restaurant to fund their spring break trip. James Franco plays a drug dealer named Alien who bails them out, but they’ve got to do some dirty work for him in exchange.

Interview Magazine has scored some brand new photos from the production, which include the female cast posing in sexy bathing suits and a cornrowed Franco holding two guns to girls’ heads, plus some that are even more scandalous than that. Spring Breakers just wrapped filming, and doesn’t have an official release date yet. It’s expected to hit theaters sometime in 2013.
