So it’s official. Album trailers are the new big thing, especially from big artists releasing highly anticipated new album. The latest in this trench: Green Day’s brand new trailer for their new album ¡Uno!, which will be out September 25.

The album is the first in a series of three that Green Day will release over the next eight months, concluding the series next year with ¡Tre! on January 15, 2013. In this new clip, which lasts only 33 seconds (just like a real trailer!), you can hear the instrumentals from what sounds like a raucous new song as the band plays their instruments and the camera cuts to brief shots of song titles on a wall. At the end, the album’s cover art is revealed. Watch below:

Are you excited for this new album? We are. We can’t wait to play all three CDs at the same time in January and see if there’s some kind of secret message embedded in there.
