    One Direction – Take Me Home (Columbia, November 13)

    One Direction will release their second album, a follow-up to their hit album Up All Night, in November. The group collaborated with various songwriters and producers, including Ed Sheeran, McFly’s Tom Fletcher, Dr Luke, Shellback and Toby Gad. The disc’s lead single, “Live While We’re Young,” will premiere on October 1. Check out the band’s album trailer below:

    Kendrick Lamar – good kid, m.A.A.d. city (Top Dawg Entertainment/Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope Records, October 22)
    .

    Kendrick Lamar will finally unleash his major label debut this fall, a follow-up to his greatly acclaimed release Section.80. Recent single, “Swimming Pool (Drank),” will appear on the disc, which was produced by T-Minus. Lamar will release a full tracklisting in the coming weeks.     All Time Low – Don’t Panic (Hopeless, October 9)
    .

    All Time Low will release a new album this October. Singer/guitarist Alex Gaskarth said of the disc, “With this record, a big part of the process was finding what made our band special on each of our past records. This time around, rather than taking influence from anything we were listening to at the time-or anything we want to touch on generationally-the goal was to make an album that we felt reflected the best aspects of our previous releases.” Check out the album’s trailer below:

    Converge – All We Love We Leave Behind (Epitaph, October 9)
    .

    Converge will release a new album this fall, recorded and mixed by guitarist Kurt Ballou at his own Godcity Studios in Salem, MA. Ballou said, “There’s no artificial distortion, triggers, or Auto-Tune on this album, it’s all organic, it’s real sounds that capture the way the band performs live.” Singer Jacob Bannon added, “I think we really stepped up our game on this record. The most important thing to this band is that with every album we want to create something that excites us and moves us in some way. There are a lot of subtle nuances on this record are really special to us and we definitely hit those individually on this record.” Listen to new song “Aimless Arrow” here.

    Gary Clark Jr. – Gary Clark Jr. (WBR, October 23)

    Gary Clark Jr. will finally release his long-awaited debut album in October. The disc, produced by the musician and Mike Elizondo (Fiona Apple, Mastodon), will showcase the shows that Clark has been performing live to great acclaim over the past year. The tracklisting is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

    Kaki King – Glow (Velour Music Group, October 9)
    .

    New York guitar impresario Kaki King will release a new album, produced by D. James Goodwin, this October. King said, “This is a guitar record. This is the sound of a person playing guitar. Whatever additions we made, the fundamental of this record is still one person playing a guitar. That’s who I am.”

    The Sword – Apocryphon (Razor & Tie, October 22)
    .

    Texas metal band The Sword will unleash their fourth album this fall. The band has yet to reveal the details of the album, but has announced that they will promote the album in their upcoming appearance on Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations. The band will appear on the show on September 3 and will showcase their own brand hot sauce Tears of Fire. Check out a preview of the show below:

    Trey Anastasio – Traveler (Rubber Jungle Records/ATO Records, October 16)
    .

    Phish frontman Trey Anastasio will unveil a new solo EP in October. The album was co-produced by Anastasio and Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Jónsi) last fall in Katis’ Tarquin Studios in Bridgeport, CT, and features several guest appearances including Mates of State’s Kori Gardner, The National’s Bryan Devendorf and Matt Berninger, Icelandic percussionist Samuli Kosminen, Rob Moose (Bon Iver, Antony and the Johnsons), Thomas Bartlett (Rufus Wainwright, David Byrne) and theremin player Rob Schwimmer.
