Well, it was finally accomplished. ‘The Avengers’ were taken down and it all happened on Memorial Day weekend. USA! USA! DEMOCRACY! OTHER MOVIES! ‘The Avengers’ was unseated, predictably, by ‘Men In Black III,’ a film that was well liked simply by being better than anyone could have expected. Couple that with the fact that ‘Men In Black III’ was the only living American movie star Will Smith’s first film in seven years and it should have been unstoppable. BUT, it kind of wasn’t. Listen, it came in number one with $70 million, but for a much hyped and much talked about sequel that cost a reported $250 million to produce $70 million ain’t exactly gangbusters. -

Well, this is starting to get boring. Once again ‘The Avengers’ topped the weekend box office, adding another $55.1 million to its existing take of six thousandy billiondy dollars. Congrats Joss Whendon! You can buy yourself another piano! ‘The Avengers’ success this weekend made for the demise of ‘Battleship’ and, probably, Taylor Kitsch’s leading man stock. First ‘John Carter’ and then ‘Battleship,’ which with $25.3 million had the worst domestic opening for any movie with a budget North of $200 million. Yikes, you guys! On the bright side, ‘Battleship’ already made it’s budget back overseas, so Riggins can go be an action star in Germany or something. -

The Avengers assemble to make a lot of money! After breaking basically every record in the history of records (Except, of course, for the world’s longest fingernails. That one weird guy’s still got that one and he ain’t giving it up – The Hulk wasn’t satisfied, so he and his friends smashed their way to the top of the heap yet again. In fact, ‘The Avengers’ had the biggest second week ever because, well because it’s ‘The Avengers’ and EVERYONE LOVES IT. -

Chloe Moretz, or Chloe Grace Moretz, as she prefers to be called, is one of those people who makes you feel as though you’ve somehow been completely wasting your life away. She took on her first TV role by the age of 7, and just half a decade later she was kicking some serious a** on the big screen. If we were to bet on the future of any young hollywood starlet making a scene on the red carpets these days, we’d bet big on Chloe Grace. Here’s why… -
