MySpace a place for friends

Hey everyone, I'm Courtney. My life the past few years has been a rough road, but I can finally say I'm completely happy (well, I COULD use a new job and more money...but let's not be picky yet....). I'm 27 years old. I'm a Lehighton girl, lived here all my life. In August 2008, Mike and I got engaged, you'll see him as #1 on my top friends. Even though we had some rough patches and our situations don't allow us to live together right now, I love him very much and I know we'll grow old together. He has a beautiful little girl named Alexia. She's not mine, however I love her very much and I would do anything for her.

Friends are sooo important to me. I have a great group of friends who I know will be there for me whenever I need them. They know who they are, their initials are tattooed on my arm.

I'm proud to say I'm the founder and owner of The Green Day Authority, dedicated to my favorite band of 15 years, Green Day. I started listening to them when Dookie came out (2/1/1994) and they have always remained a huge part of my life. I also love going to concerts. I've seen Green Day 7 times so far. I've also seen My Chemical Romance, New Found Glory, Jimmy Eat World, The Living End, Sum 41, Good Charlotte, Moneen, Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, From First to Last, Hawthorne Heights, Sugarcult, blink 182, and I've attended Bamboozle 2006 and the Vans Warped Tour 2006. I've also traveled to San Francisco, CA, to attended the Recording Academy Ceremony honoring Green Day in March 2006.

I'm a HUGE DVD collector. I have 400+ DVDs in my collection, which you can view here. I'm mostly into comedies, as you can probably see if you look at my collection. I'm the friend that people come to borrow DVDs from. I also collect Green Day stuff of course, Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, and don't make fun of me -- The Littlest Pet Shop animals (the ones I think are cute), and action figures. I also enjoy playing video games. Between Mike and I, we have all the popular consoles out now. I'm the guitar player in our Rock Band games, and I have all the Guitar Hero games, except the stupid Aerosmith one (I played it...it's boring).
