Hard to say - Whatsie has our own sound. If pressed for a comparison - Some people have suggested a blend of Joni Mitchell, Jefferson Airplane and Steely Dan. However, there are overtones of historic jazz styles and far-out technology derived sounds. We never do the same song exactly the same way.
Properly pronounced as "wh-hut-see", Whatsie is a bunch of musicians & artists that like a great party and insist on high fidelity. Whether this materializes within the audible realm, visual experiences, cocktails, or other mediums is incidental.
Subject to availability, venues and inspirations, Whatsie scales to the occasion.

It’s an all day BBQ/Show at Soundlab on June 28th... It’s 5 dollars at the door, we will have 2 grills outside bbqing hot dogs, veggie dogs and veggies, cheap beer, acoustic acts outside and full bands inside.... goes from 1pm - 1am .... It’s a benefit for the Hope Refugee Center to help their after school program.....
