Thank you to everyone who has been so nice to us! It's really hard to put into words how much we appreciate it/you. The Cost Of Living was always a band that put new and exciting experiences ahead of 'things' and convention and it was the support and hell yeah!'s of our friends that made it all possible. A big fuck you to anyone who didn't believe enthusiasm and simply being nice to people would amount to anything.
TCOL recorded two demos, played 70 gigs, toured the UK with Blotto (from Japan) and even played a pre-Fest show in Tampa, Florida in 2008. I think we did alright. In the end time constraints, other commitments and the opportunity to play with our wonderful friends Lemuria again signalled the end - we played our last show on Tuesday 9th June 2009.
SUCKINIM BAENAIM / ACHZAVOTH SPLIT 7" Two crazy Israeli bands is the only way to describe this record. Suckinim Baenaim play insane, fast experimental punk. The only why to describe it is by saying it's similar to Rolo Tomassi, HORSE the band, Holy Molar etc - but they sound nothing like those bands. Achzavoth on the other hand... I've heard nothing like them before - fast, heavy, satan loving, fun.
DING DONG DEAD 'NIE WIEDER MORGEN' 10" When a band is named after an Orchid song you know they have the right influences already. Nine tracks of intense punk/..screamo/skramz - whatever you want to call it. All the lyrics are in German but they come with English explanations which is cool.

Their first release in 3 years!
Four tracks, on clear vinyl. I have 100 copies out of 333, and a couple
have purple streaks on the record - if you get one of those, you're a
lucky boy...
Nooooo! You can't stop now, especially since I can't make it to either of those gigs! Sad news indeed. Nevertheless, thanks for many happy memories, and much luck with the numerous other bands. Morgan xo
