Citing influences ranging from bands like The Beatles and The Small Faces to artists such as Roy Orbison and Paul Weller, WHAT THE HEROES SAY pride themselves on writing vibrant melody-inspired songs drawing from the past but creating their own unique sound.
The line up which consists of John Davidson (vocals), John Dougan (guitar), Sean Maddocks (keyboards), John Atkinson (bass) and Desy Friel (drums) formed in the summer of 2008 and in that time have went from strength to strength performing their increasingly impressive live sets to audiences up and down the UK and headlining the legendary King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow in their first ever gig.
WHAT THE HEROES SAY have recently been busy writing and recording with producer Mark Freegard at the Kyoti Studios in Glasgow and the hotly anticipated debut EP has must been released on cd and digital download
