The Wheatmonkeys are a group that has grown substantially since their debut CD entitled Danger in the fall of 2002, making their mark on the Canadian Music Industry at numerous national showcases (Prairie Music Week, Canadian Music Week, COCA, Western Canadian Music Awards). Their hard work paid off and the band toured throughout Canada three times on the back of their debut CD, all the while improving their live show, expanding their fan base, and gaining valuable performance experience.
In 2004 the Wheatmonkeys opened two shows for Goldfinger, a relationship that would flourish when introduced to their drummer Darrin Phieffer, who was immediately hooked by the bands tight sound, solid songwriting and strong live show. That friendship has opened many more doors for the band as this connection led to their own label showcase in Toronto that served as a solid introduction to much of the Canadian Industry personnel.
The Eagerly awaited release of Wheatmonkeys new album "Hotter Than a Pistol" has been spreading widely throughout Canadian rock radio playlists with the first single "Heat".
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!

Pour ne pas perdre ses soirées, le groupe propose de venir jouer chez vous gratuitement en formule acoustique.
