The Wheeljacks were an extremely active and hard working indie band based in Blackpool, England. Made of four members (of which the drummer changed late '07) the band wrote a set of 'anthemic indie rock' which the local scene embraced and seemed to love. The group travelled to the North East of England and embarked on a small tour, travelling down to London and up through Leeds and Manchester.
The Wheeljacks had their first radio debut on XFM Manchester, closely followed by BBC radio Lancashire complete with an interview and a full play of their EP 'You Know Who You Are', recorded at Blue Room Studios, Blackpool.
As the band's music and style progressed it was clear that some changes needed to be applied, and a mutual yet quiet agreement to disband was made in early '08.
