About me: "Whence Came Ye Scarlett O'Hara O'Hanrahan" is a solo show, written and performed by Melle Powers , directed by Jeremy Brisiel, and produced by 53 Hysterics.
It is a wonderful modern grown-up fairy tale about one African-American-Irish-African-American's journey to discover her roots in the Bronx.
Upcoming performances: The **spork festival - Feb 2008 and The Frigid Fest - Feb & March 2008. It has previously been performed as part of the 2007 New York International Fringe Festival, the Emerging Artist Theater's "One Woman Standing" festival and at The Bowery Poetry Club.
