Unpleasant realities of the world we live in. Even as believers, we are not exempt from the sorrows that life may bring… but as children of God we have HOPE… and that hope is in Jesus Christ.
Many are limping through valleys of grief or loss that can leave us wondering if life will ever be the same. These thoughts are not uncommon... and they are understandable.
Jesus Himself said in John 16:33 (NLT) “I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.”
This is the heart of WHEN LIFE GETS BROKEN. A poignant reminder that even in the darkest of times, we have been promised that we are never alone, He is always with us and that if we will “get a glimpse of Jesus” and turn to Him, He will help us start all over again.

Thanks Pr. Matt. Yes we had a wonderful Thanksgiving. When all of my family and especially grandbabies and greatgrandbabies crawl upon my lap to kiss and hug me and tell me those wonderful words "MiMi I love you......Yes, I must say that my heart can hardly contain the thanks that I feel toward My Lord. What a reward Pr. Matt......worth more than all the money in the world. Even Boomer was here. Sure do love that kid. Not only my family, but my church family means the world to me. I cannot think of one person there that I'm not thankful for. And you, Sheri and the boys hold a very special place in my heart. What an awesome God we serve, WHAT AN AWESOME GOD INDEED.
