The Wherehouse is a non-profit Christian concert ministry. The venue where we hold most of our shows is located at 331 N. Quawpa in Bartlesville Oklahoma.

The Wherehouse ministry and vision was first established by Tim Cook back in 1990. In the late 90s the mantle was passed to another Tim,Tim Hudson and the succesfull second stage of the Wherehouse began. Tim H had to step down in 2005, and the Wherehouse continued on with a new director Mike H.and the Wherehouses 3rd stage was started. Then in early 2006 the Wherehouse closed down. Now in the Winter of 2006 new leadership,with a new vision for the Wherehouse has started. A new director Brian Harp has started a new chapter in the history of this great ministry.
The Wherehouse has a director and assistant director, and an advisory/accountability board made up of local ministers and members involved in the CCM community.We have full time staff and volunteers.

The vision of the Wherehouse is three fold. To be a place of encouragement,refuge and ministry to regional youth and Christian music fans. To be a servant and help to the area church, and body of Christ. To be an evangelical outreach thru the music and ministry of the artists that play here,and the staff that work here.

The Wherehouse has a long tradition of supporting, and booking cutting edge and extreme Christian music. The Wherehouse also supports and books the more mainstream rock and pop artists.We support Hiphop & Rap.We love Praise and Worship music.We respect and support the classic Christian artists of the 70s,80s and 90s. We support both signed and unsigned artists. In other words no matter what the style,if it is Christian we support it!! If the people in this area want to see it,and support it.Then we will book it!!

As I said before the Wherehouse supports signed and nationwide touring artists,and local and regional independent bands. We are always looking to support talented artists that love God,and put their faith first. We are a non-profit 501c3 ministry and we do need help with the various expenses and needs of this ministry. To be able to book the artists and have the concerts we desire takes money. We are not able to fund these expenses just thru what money comes in from the door and snack bar. We welcome your tax deductable support. We are also looking for sponsors that are willing to support us monthly,quarterly or annually. We in turn have several ways that we can give back to our sponsors for their support.

Hey Wherehouse, we are all sorry that we had to cancel the show! Alyssa was sick and couldn't sing.. we gave her a ton of medicine and made sure she had a lot of rest, but she still was down and out. We'll reschedule the show for sometime when we aren't sick. :) Take care!
