Swinging from tree to tree, Brian Parks (a.k.a. bKp) blends upbeat guitar lines with original lyrics and infectious grooves. His influences lie in folk, afro-beat, dub reggae, indie rock, and traditional music from Africa...most notably Mbira music and pop sounds coming from Zimbabwe. bKp is currently in the studio mixing his second album, which will be available mid-summer 2009.
