People have also said Bill Callahan and Bob Dylan. when i showed my brother this project, he said "its like all those girl folk singers youve been listening to only now its you." jackie says my music is very original and at the same time very familiar, that my influences are visible but she can tell shes never heard anything quite like it before.
In July of 2008, some guy independently released an EP entitled "Hello." A month and a half later, despite an overall positive reception, it got dereleased. He didn't say exactly why, only that it would be back soon, just better.
