Where The Music Lives is a non-profit promotions group promoting all unsigned artists and bands around the world. Since it's early beginning in Winter '06, WTML has been getting bigger and bigger each day, now affiliated with groups such as Review4u.org and Upchuck Records.
Where The Music Lives is unlike any other promotions group. The promotions are not only done throughout the community, but mainly over the internet through a little friendly contest. Every week 4 new unsigned bands are posted on the music player. During that week, the fans are asked to visit the page and vote for their favorite band out of the 4.
The votes are posted in the latest blog "VOTE HERE!!!" The band or artist with the most votes by the end of the week gets another week atop the player untill they are beaten, which means more free promotions - sounds easy enough?
As stated above, Where The Music Lives is a non-profit promotions group - meaning there is no charge on music, records sales or fees to be on the page. The page is created by music lovers for music lovers. We are at an age where music is but a way to make money, but not here.
Where The Music Lives also promotes concerts around the Timmins area. If you are interested in making the trek up north, please message me or e-mail me at wherethemusiclives@yahoo.ca.
