Robert Raya
Born on December 4th, 1991 in San Bernadino, California, Robert became interested in hip-hop music and writing in general in the 6th grade. Before that, he was heavily influenced by rock music as well. He began creating instrumental music in the 8th grade, using programs such as GarageBand, then updating to Fruity Loops Studio in the summer of his 10th grade year. Robert co-founded the Wherewolves in the summer of '08, and began recording with co-founder, Christian Lund at the end of the 2008 year. Robert creates all of the instrumental backing and he also rhymes as well. Robert hopes to transcend the conventional aspects of hip-hop music. Christian Lund
Born on Febuary 24th, 1992 in Long Beach, California, at an early age, Christian was extremely interested in the punk scene of rock music. In his 9th grade year, he became infatuated with hip-hop music, through such indie acts as Aesop Rock and Styles of Beyond, for example, and many others. Never having recorded his written pieces, Christian co-founded the Wherewolves with friend, Robert Raya, in the summer of 2008. He recorded for the first time during the end of December of '08. He rhymes on all tracks. In mid-2009, the duo formely known as the Wherewolves were forced to change their name to Allen Freed. Christian hopes to one day become an influence to other hip-hop fans. well christian and I originally had it planned that we would finish my tracks and his vocals by tonight, but they aren't done and im headin home so whenever i come back down, we'll finish our stuff and send the track(s) to you. Hopefully they're gonna be done in a few weeks at the most.
well i'm that cousin. haha the (first recording) track is actually already uploaded to Nothing But A Silent Truth's band page they're on my top friends.... check it out.
the first verse/chorus is about this kid walking home from a party and he's thinking he's totally cool and stuff like he's on top of the world (he's high and/or drunk) the second verse/chorus is God talking to the kid sayin he's got it all wrong christian said that you could produce the drums and orchestral sounds and i could do the vocals in the chorus and the guitar (all of which will be re-recorded for you).
we also mentioned you sending me two finished tracks: one with your drums and one without them so i could get my drummer to record live so we each have our own version. Yours featuring us and ours featuring you so they sound slightly different and have unique aspects from each band. ya know, to make ours more ours and yours more yours.
