Sounds Like
You liked Nirvana, but you have memorized all the words to all the songs they ever wrote, even the ones on that new boxset? You liked the Beatles but you wish they'd written more songs with a heavier edge to them? You liked Television but you wished they'd played more aggresively? You miss the good old days of Gang of 4, Television, Sonic Youth (in thier youth), The Slits, The Clash, Live Skull, Black Flag and you like what's good now: Cursive, 30 seconds to Mars, Foo Fighters, Death Cab for Cutie, Fugazi? Then give us a listen we're somewhere between the spaces and off the left in the periphery.
Don't like whiner rock, no crying please. There's no tissues or any paper here anyway. It's the internet and your computer doesn't like moisture. I wrote most of these songs in a car with a piece of paper, so paper is useful, but just not now. We are Whether Music. All encompassing, yet oddly spaced. We look the edge of the pool at the YMCA and we say, Hey that's just another boundary to break and so we go home get a stradegy, buy sledgehammers and go to work, and you know what? that court order can't stop us, we smell their fear, the fear of Change, that's capitolizing mr. mayor, that's capitolizing our strengths in Action, say it. so if you're looking for a band that doesn't know why cameras steal your soul, they just do, don't ask us, because we're not that wierd yet.
