Somewhere in the woods, in an A-frame house, in the middle of dream,
WHIRLD MUSIC TRIO was born----out of a desire to make spontaneous music++++To break out the sonic search light and hear what could be found. Acoustic and electric, influences of tribal-trance and middle eastern mystics, electronic loops and raw acoustic hand drumming, voice and effects, keyboards and guitar, overtone chanting and madman ranting......Introducing:
WHIRLD MUSIC TRIO...
Last night, an ominous storm knocked out power to the entire county and flooded roadways. Miraculously, the place where the Whirld Music Trio debuted was lit. Those of us who made it were blessed with drumming together in the pocket of light in the center of darkness. Hybrid Shamans .... yep. Thank you for the light and sound. Tam
Stephen, I thought I'd have the Victor Wooten tune on my page forever. He IS awesome... but Hybrid Shamans rocks. Too bad there can be only one tune. I'd love to have Wooten and Daoud's Khidr and Eight Elements up too. Some pieces are meant to be shared. Hybrid Shamans is definitely one. blessings from a Shah woman
The new CD is AMAZING!!! Great work, guys. Hybrid Shaman, Duality, Only You Can Make Me Feel, and Reflection At The Deep Pool were captivating. The entire CD is one I'll enjoy playing djembe with while whirling around my room. Hey, I got pizazz (also a great tune). Saturday's release party will, no doubt, be great. Looking forward to seeing you three and many whirld friends there. Tamra (aka humanbean4whirldpeas)
