Perils3	Jul 2 2009 4:15 AM Hey. I just read a horror book that was pretty darn good for a first book. THE WOLFMAN by Nicholas Pekearo. The style throws you off at first, than you realise it's gritty old school. Like the first werewolf stories. I think it would make a helluva guy flick if they kept it true to the voice of the author, right from the get go. Sadly, the author was a volunteer NY cop who was gunned down along with his partner. Far as I know, this was his only completed work, and this guy had a true talent. What a waste. If you know any guys who are looking for a good old school werewolf story,and i do mean OLD SCHOOL this is their book. A hero who isn't heroic, but scarily realistic in his choices. I have no idea why I picked it up. It' not what I read at all (no HEA porn in it, lol). It just drew me, and then I got sucked in. Thought I'd let people know.
