GREAT COUNTRY ARTIST………….
But came my PARENTS NIGHTMARE.
THE BEATLES (in my opinion the greatest
Band ever).
They changed the whole may of thinking
In the Music Business.
The 60s where here!
How lucky was I, growing up in the 60s.
The PEACE, LOVE, GROOVYNESS, and all
That Music.. “WOODSTOCK”. (all that music
on one stage). And if you had never heard
of a certain Band or Artist, you did after
this Great Event. All Styles, All Flavors of
Music.
Crosby, Stills, Nash, and yes our Great
Canadian Boy “NEIL YOUNG”
CCR, The EAGLE (shit what harmonies)…
These Bands plus many others, where the
cross over of the music “COUNTRY ROCK”.
Now I had my roots back Country and Rock,
Can’t ask for more than that…
I had a couple of ROCK BANDs in late 60s
early 70s (never giving up my roots). All I
had to do is play my Country sets, with my
rockier tunes..COUNTRY ROCK was here.
But in the late 70s early 80s I was booked
as “COUNTRY ROCK”.
