The Electric Whiskey Saints
The Electric Whiskey Saints are a bi-product of the immensely successful acoustic Whiskey Saints project. The Whiskey Saints have been pleasing music lovers in and around Columbus, Ohio since the late 90’s, constantly evolving their song list and performances to reflect the changing times and sounds. Filling bars, weddings, and private parties with the acoustic sounds of modern hits and old favorites came naturally to the Saints and the progression to a full band seemed like a natural thing to do.
It all came together
With the creation of the Electric version of the Whiskey Saints in January of 2007, a new era begins. An era founded in rock sensibilities and painted with the colors of the diverse sounds and genres their set lists cross. Although each member of the Electric Whiskey Saints has a deep foundation in writing and performing original music in previous projects (Sugar Pill, Zero Rain, Aether, Clyde, and Kid Tested), they have made their mark by performing covers with a sense of flair and musicianship that takes the elements of the original songs and infuses their own personalities and experiences into the performance. The result is a fun atmosphere where the band proficiently plays songs that everyone knows and loves, while engaging the crowd to participate in having fun.
Once you experience an Electric Whiskey Saints show, you’ll finally get what you’ve been looking for in a good cover band and you’ll see just what happens when it all comes together.

We are in the process of launching our 5th annual Absolute Goodol competition. We are looking for *unsigned* individuals and bands to record a cover version of their favorite Goo Goo Dolls song and send it in. Our message board members will listen and vote in the preliminary rounds, and this year we have celebrity judges weighing in on the finalists - Bob Mussell (rock photographer extraordinaire), Sylvia Nadler (executive director of Compass House in Buffalo), and the Goo Goo Dolls themselves.
Our entry deadline is May 11, 2008.
We'll have two winners - one individual performance and one group performance - and the winners will receive some swag, lavish praise, and free promotion on our site.
We can pimp your MySpace page on our site and our MySpace page during the competition, so you can be sure your song will get alot of exposure!
