Whiskey Soda zählt zu den größten und aktuellsten Musikmagazinen im deutschsprachigen Internet. Die Seite wurde bereits 1996 ins Leben gerufen.
Damit ist es eines der ältesten und gleichzeitig auch eines der fünf beliebstesten Online-Musik-Magazine Deutschlands. Whiskey Soda hat monatlich über 300.000 Visits mit einer Million Clicks zu verzeichnen. Die Redaktion besteht aus circa 30 Redakteuren aus Berlin, Hamburg, Köln und München, wobei ein Großteil der Gruppe in Berlin lebt. Im Jahr 2005 wurden 265 Artikel und Interviews, 867 aktuelle CD-Besprechungen und 1952 Nachrichten veröffentlicht.
