"Whiskey Train" was formed in Medford/Williamstown South Jersey. The band was formed by Kenny Curcio and Johnny DeAngelis, then added Dom Grosso and finally Brett and Bart Riley. Whiskey Train brings great music for all occasions including WEDDINGS, BENIFITS, BIRTHDAY PARTY'S, BARS/CLUBS etc...Some places you can find WHISKEY TRAIN cd's include ITUNES, CD BABY, TUNES, or of course at any of our shows.
Whiskey Train is currently in the recording studio "Davis Sound Station" recording our first full length album "OPEN UP YOUR MIND". The Album is going to be filled with songs such as favorites "Blue Jeans", "Come my Way", "Ride Slow", "No Reason", and many more. We are looking forward for you to hear it. THEIR RIFFS WERE OLD SCHOOL, KINDA LIKE SKYNYRD MEETS QUEEN MEETS ELTON JOHN. CLOSER TO THE GUN WAS THEIR SOUND, A VERY RADIO FRIENDLY ROCK THAT FUSED A MATCHBOX 20 AND DAVE MATTHEWS BAND. MY FAVORITE IS HARMONIZING...4 VOCALISTS SOUNDING LIKE ONE VOICE. I REALLY DUG THIS BAND FROM THEIR CATCHY TUNES TO THEIR DRIVEN GUITARS TO THEIR DIVERSIFIED KEYBOARDS. LITTLE THING LIKE ONE LEAD VOCALIST PLAYING THE DRUMS WITH HIS HANDS WHILE THE DRUMMER WAS PLAYING AND THE SONG WAS GOING ON. OVERALL, I REALLY DUG THIS BAND." I recently found this band Sonny Bomber. They're fairly new from my understanding & I think they sound pretty good. They're playing at the North Star Bar in Philly on August 11th, so you all should definitely go to that show if you can. I just would like you all to please check them out & if you have a myspace page add them!! They need some more shows as well. I was speaking with the bassist & so it would be pretty awesome if any of you could help out. Also, spread the word about them! It would mean a lot to me & to the band. Thanks so much!!
