About Whistle Gear

After the big bang and formation of the planets, a force collided with Earth. From the rubble and ashes appeared a few brave men who dared to venture into the realm of rock n roll. They called themselves Whistle Gear. Through many years of evolution they now exist as the hottest band in northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

But seriously folks, Whistle Gear was started in 1978 by Joe, Barney and Curly. Later that year, Charlie was invited to join. Through three decades there have been numerous break-ups and regroupings.

Now current members Charlie Scoggins, Scott Kopish, and Sean Heimbuch have joined forces with talented new-blood Darryl Heidtman (of All Too Human and The Poor Originality Band) form what is the best incarnation of Whistle Gear ever!

The band still attributes it's success to masterfully performing a wide variety of music, from classic rock to pop and dance tunes. Come join the crowd... YOU HAVE TO SEE IT TO BELIEVE IT!!
