About me: The Whistlestop Bar was established in 1979 in the South Park/Golden Hill neighborhood of San Diego, California. The bar was boarded up for the nineties only to be re-established in May of 2001.
The Whistlestop is the "little bar that could" and does; featuring a full bar(twelve beers on draft, bottled beers, wine, a great selection of top shelf liquor, and a well that can't be beat!), weekly dj events, board games, fashion shows, political rallies, live radio remotes, knitting jams, craft fairs, live music, movie screenings, pool, darts, video games, outstanding jukebox selection, and a hidden smoking patio!

Cover Me Badd’s Musical Pursuit is the last Thursday of every month at The Whistle Stop! Sign-up at 8:00. MUSIC TRIVIA STARTS AT 9:00 SHARP. The questions will cover a wide range of eras/genres plus a rare pre-taped Name That Tune section! $5 per player (or watch for free) and the winning team takes ALL on this special night.
