About me: This page is dedicated to my Father in heaven Yahweh. Also to my wife Dana, my step-daughter Megan, and is dedicated to the loving memory of my beautiful son Daniel Aaron Parker(9/4/04-7/4/05). I miss you. I will see you again one day and we can pick up where we left off
The last three years have been tough on me and my family. On July 4, 2005 my ten month-old son Daniel passed away. I still grieve the loss of my only child. I realize that this is a life-long process. Yahweh gives me the strength to handle it and I take it one day at a time.
In late July of 2008 I was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer and had my entire colon removed. This happened a week after my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Both my mother and I are recovering and doing well. I am currently going through chemotherapy treatments to eliminate some spots on my lungs.
I don't consider myself a religious man, but I do believe in a Greater Power. I don't believe you have to belong to some religious organization to serve Yahweh. I thank the Heavenly Father daily for all things, both good and bad, for all things show me how much I need Him in my life. Without Yahweh I can do nothing, but through Yahshua the Messiah ALL things are possible!
I play the guitar and love just about any style of music that has good guitar in it. I listen mostly to Christian music. It has a positive vibe to it and the lyrics are clean. Using obscene language and glorifying the sins of this world really shows a lack of creativity in a musician. I want music that is honest and uplifting.
As I stated earlier, I listen mostly to Christian music, but not traditional or contemporary. I listen to hard rock/metal music. The combination of the most intense music in the world with the most intense message in the world, the Word of Yahweh, is absolutely perfect.
I'm a pleasent person to be around. If you want to be a friend or discuss something, contact me. A little advise to all: I'm not going to argue or debate with anyone on what I hold to be true, so if you're looking for a fight, go bother someone else. Please keep things clean; no profanity or sexual stuff. I deal with enough trash having to live in this world everyday, I would this to be a more positive experience for everyone! May Yahweh bless you all!
He is finally doing a little better. Your an Angel, and you are a Trooper!! Thanks for being a friend. Have you spoken to Dave (The Metal Guy?) I believe their is no more "Metal ZONE" That is terrible!! I finally get high speed internet, and now no Show? Aarrgghh!!
Hey Don, good to hear from you. No apologies needed, I'm sorry also for I've been out of touch with everyone lately. Just moving and dealing with a new family and the things that often go a long with it. It's Tuesday now and I suppose you're getting some treatment. I sure hope that is going well. It sounds like it is. I know God is taking care of you ... good care. And I'm glad that your faith is strong in Him.
I really don't go out to face book at all, and scarcely even here to myspace, but please keep in touch and let me know how you are. I'm praying for you and your health today.
It has been a while. Are you in Texas of Lousiana or on the border of both BIG SMILE. I hope this note finds you blessed and blessed. Maybe someday if you are in Texas you can come over here and visit. David
